HOW TO PROVISION YOUR SIM CARD FOR INTERNET

Many are troubled because their SIMCARD has not been provisioned for internet infact I was once a victim I subscribe for data bundle not knowing that my sim is yet to provisioned, it was total loss for me but now I am happy because my simcard has been provisioned for internet access and I think many people are also facing such a problem. Though some simcard have been provisioned for internet already but if your has not been provisioned kindly follow my step by step guide below.

   MTN SIMCARD

Send SETTINGS as sms to 3888 on your GPRS enabled handset and right away you will get 2 configuration settings GPRS and MMS. Save the cofiguration and switch off your phone for few seconds and switch it on again. Voila, your sim is configured you can then subscribe for their data bundle, the codes for the bundle has been explained in my blog.

GLO SIMCARD

Send your make and model to 927 and 667 in this format Nokia N8 to 927 for GPRS  send it again to 667 for MMS provisioning, you will get configuration settings on your phone all you need do is to save the settings and switch your phone off and on it afterwards your GLO simcard can now surf the internet

ETISALAT SIMCACARD

Call customer care on 200 and ask them to help you configure your phone and simcard for internet, I bet you their response is immediate but you would be ask to give the name of your phone and its model. let us say SONYERICSSON P990i is your phone.The make is sonyericsson and the model is P990i. save the settings and begin to enjoy Etisalat internet bundle plan.

AIRTEL SIMCARD

Call customer care unit from your phone on 111 asking for sim configuration for GPRS. same as ETISALAT you will be ask for your phone make and model kindly give them the details and your dimcard will be provisioned or in the alternative go to ZAIN on your computer and there and then you fill out some form asking for details of your handset and you will also provide your mobile number and sttings would be forwarded to your phone, switch it off and on, your sim has just been configured for internet on airtel network.
