Do you know you can temporarily hold your payments by setting a self-hold in
your account? Setting a self-hold will stop Google from sending you
payments, but you'll continue to accrue earnings. Provided that your
account balance has reached the
payment threshold, we'll issue a single payment in the payment cycle after you remove the hold.
To set or remove a hold:
- Sign in to your account.
- Click the gear icon in the upper right corner of any tab, then, from the drop-down list, select Payments. In the sidebar, click Payment Settings.
- In the Payment settings section, click "edit self-hold".
- To set a self-hold, check the Hold payments box. (To end a hold and resume regular payments, uncheck the box.)
- Click Apply.
Please note that any changes made to your hold status after the 15th
of any month won't take effect until the following payment cycle. Try to
update your settings before the 15th in order to avoid this delay.
