Here is the ONLY way (that I have tried out) on how to fix WINDOWS XP Sound. I'm not so sure if this works
for VISTA or any other operating system but I think it might. Right now I'm
using Windows XP 2002 Home Edition as example! Follow these simple steps below to fix no sound problem on your Windows XP computer
1.Go To Start
2.Hit Run
3.Type in Msconfig
3.Go to Services
4.Hit Enable All
5.Restart Computer
Your audio should by now be working after this
